About Fiber Action Cooperative

Fiber Action Cooperative is a non-profit organization formed by fiber artists to promote outreach, education and opportunities for the fiber arts.

Our recent projects are:

  • Weekend demonstrations during June 2009 of weaving, indigo dyeing, spinning and felting techniques at Sprout Garden Shop and Cafe on Richardson Blvd, across from the Post Office in Black Mountain, NC.
  • A demonstration and sales booth at the Sourwood Festival in Black Mountain on August 8th and 9th.
  • The Anything Fiber Sale & Swap on August 15 in the Black Mountain area.
  • Ongoing classes in weaving, dyeing, spinning and felting.
